In Equinox and the Eclipse project we have setup a base URL that lists our IP log snapshots for each release and we use the base URLs as the link from our web site:

Hi Wayne,
Just to clarify: is the implication here that we need to have a "frozen" copy of the IP log for each release on our Web site? I ask because we haven't been doing this so far in EMF (I suspect not in Modeling, at all). We simply have the latest "live" version posted on our Web site. Normally, I'd imagine this is all anyone would care about.
Since the whole Web site is in CVS, people could go back and find the log for a specific release if they *really* wanted to, but so far no one has ever asked.
