Hi all,
I've been investigating the issue and found that Shigeki
had fogot
creating the dsdp-nab.sc file for the Ganymatic to pick up
his update
site. All the other Ganymede Must Do's are indeed met, and
we had
the assumption that the project were a valid part of
Ganymede.
The file has since been created, and since there has been
no response
to Doug's original E-Mail, I'm wondering if there are
any objections
against kicking the Ganymatic to pick up the NAB
stuff onto
ganymede/staging, to check that
everything's really green with NAB?
We think on the DSDP PMC that it's important for the NAB
project
to gain more visibility and exposure to the Eclipse
community, and
we hoped getting this by means of the Ganymede train,
that's why
we'd like the project added to the
site.
The NAB project is very
successful in Japan, but has not yet managed
to gain more visibility in the rest of the world.
Anybody who has seen
the NAB Demo at EclipseCon will agree that this is some
really
cool piece of technology.
Cheers,

Hi All,
Well, we’re experiencing some
collective embarrassment in DSDP right now. Shigeki and I are the most
embarrassed.
NAB has been following the
train all along with builds, but Shigeki didn’t populate the Ganymede update
site. He’s been doing all of the other must haves (yes, his plug-ins are
signed). His project update site works fines, too.
I sort of wish someone had
said, “we’re dropping NAB because we don’t see them”. But in the end it’s
completely my fault for not checking.
I’m guessing it’s too late to
get this fixed? (Please be gentle in your response
David!)

Doug
and Martin,
The
data on the project page comes from the project info database, so if any of
the information is incorrect, it would be great to have the project leaders to
update their information.
Also,
my understanding is that NAB did not actually make it into the release, hence
they are not on the list.

I
can’t find NAB in the Ganymede update site either. I’m trying to reach Shigeki
now.

Hi
Ian,
the
page looks out of date, compared to http://wiki.eclipse.org/Ganymede/Signoffs#RCx_Status
*
Buckminster should be 1.1.0 not 1.0.0
* NAB
is missing
* DTP
should be 1.6 not 1.6RC5
* DLTK
should be 0.95
...
and many more...
Cheers,

Doug,
Not
sure what you mean by ‘europa style’ link. This project listing
is linked under the button ‘Learn More About Ganymede’.

Hi folks,
I can’t find a
Ganymede-by-project listing. The “europa style” link seems to be missing
projects, and anyway this link isn’t anywhere on the Ganymede main
page.
http://www.eclipse.org/ganymede/projects.php
Anyone have a better
link?
