Jimmy,
I have updated http://wiki.eclipse.org/COSMOS_QA_i9_Activities#In_scope_and_out_of_scope_QA_activities_at_the_ER_and_iteration_level
for integration build testing, with the
scope of Smoke Test for Linux Platform.
Thanks,
Srinivas
“
QA does not have any responsibility for testing weekly
integration builds, however QA will do a minimal of "smoke test" on
Linux Platform.
Scope of Smoke Test for Linux Platform
- Limited
End2End testing : Build Setup, Basic query execution tests, Statistical
and Log report generation tests

Kishore / Srinivas,
Can you please update http://wiki.eclipse.org/COSMOS_QA_i9_Activities#In_scope_and_out_of_scope_QA_activities_at_the_ER_and_iteration_level
with the scenario David paints below? We can then tweak the exact scope
of work in the Friday Summit.
Thanks,
Jimmy Mohsin

IMO, an adequate smoke test would be to run one query and display the
results in the end-to-end scenario setup. Perhaps we want to break that
down where client is on Linux vs. server is on Linux.

All,
Can you please review the
section http://wiki.eclipse.org/COSMOS_QA_i9_Activities#In_scope_and_out_of_scope_QA_activities_at_the_ER_and_iteration_level
…and update it with the
Linux considerations for i9?
We need to define the scope of
the “smoke test” for Linux….
Thanks,
Jimmy
