Crew:
The
i8 ERs that need to be addressed by QA are (Severity is Enhancement); the
owners are listed for each as well.
209226 -
UI Visualization
infrastructure (there is a typo in this ER’s Summary in bugzilla) à
Sheldon
209227 - Common
Error Management System for COSMOS à Mark W.
208584 - Update CMDBf query and registration
service implementations to 1.0 spec level à David
209223 - Error Handling - client side à
Sheldon
208603 - Register Visualizations with a Query
Response - programming model (there
is a typo in this ER’s Summary in bugzilla) à Sheldon
209224 - Error
Management for DataCollection Framework à Hubert
Please
address the unit testing / verification approach for each; or else we run the
risk of QA not being able to meet their timeline for i8.
Thanks,
Jimmy

Shivvy,
Some of these
are not ERs, but are defects. I don't think QA is responsible for
verifying defects, only ERs (i.e. only bugzilla entries that have Severity =
enhancement). My understanding is that defects should be verified by the
person (developer) who opened the defect.
