Jimmy,
I’m able to download the zip file. Maybe if you click with
more feeling? ;-)
Cheers,
Joel

Subject: [cosmos-dev] Applying SDD artifacts to COSMOS
All,
1. Can the team still access
the zip file below?
2. I cannot pull it down; not
sure it this is due to firewall issues.
QUESTION: Are there any pieces of SDD that WILL or MAY apply to M2?
In either case, what are those pieces?
Or if the answer is no, when does the SDD team envision their
runtime / tooling intersect with a COSMOS milestone / iteration?
I ask the question from the COSMOS Adoptability perspective.
Thanks,
Jimmy Mohsin

Subject: [cosmos-dev] SDD Vote
COSMOS
Committers,
In August,
Jason Losh of SAS took the COSMOS team through a proposal to implement an SDD
runtime and tooling in COSMOS. The general consensus was that the team
supported this proposal, however, a few members requested additional time to
review it. The additional reviews have been completed; therefore, we are
ready to put the proposal to a vote. Here is a link for your reference:
http://wiki.eclipse.org/images/3/3c/SDD.zip.
Please respond
with a +1 if you approve this proposal, 0 if you abstain, and -1 to veto.
Voting will be open until Tuesday, December 4.

Jason,
Thanks for dropping us a line.
>From a COSMOS perspective, I'll use your note as a catalyst to circle back
with the team to get a sense of if they have made any progress. Of
course, feel free to join the architecture meeting or the community call and
ask the question yourself. I'd be happy to get you on the agenda for
either of those meetings.
>From an IBM point of view, we've been working with various teams internally
to understand the scope and alignment/impact with our products and how we might
be able to support and contribute to this work. While we've made some
good progress, we are still in the process of vetting the proposal and I will
get you some feedback ASAP.
Thanks again,
-Mark W.

SDD follow-up
|
|
Hi COSMOS team,
A couple of weeks ago I gave a presentation on proposed work as part of
COSMOS for an SDD runtime. Since then I have received some excellent
feedback and questions. I wanted to post to the group at large to
find
out if there are any other questions or follow-up folks might have.
Also, if you would like to put me in touch with install
developers/release engineers within your respective companies to discuss
SDD and work we'd like to do surrounding it, I'd be more than willing to
talk to them.
Regards,
-Jason
