Re: [collections-dev] Release plan for 8.1 and 9.0

I just noticed the original 9.0 release plan was not in line with Eclipse Foundation release review schedule (first and third Wednesday), so shifted the plan by 1 week.

This looks good to me.  I’m finishing up primitiveCaseProcedure templates and then we will have nice symmetry between object and primitive collections for both case functions and case procedures.  This plan should give everyone else with open pull requests enough time to finish up for us to be feature complete.

Committers, please have a look and let me know for any questions. I’ll update the roadmap in GitHub Wiki once we agree.

 

[8.1]

March 1st             8.1-RC (a.k.a feature complete). Release review gets kicked off.

March 15th           8.1 release review concludes.

March 16th           8.1 release gets uploaded to Maven Central.

 

[9.0]

May 17th               9.0-M1.

July 12th                9.0-M2.

August 30th         9.0-RC (a.k.a feature complete). Release review gets kicked off.

September 13th 9.0 release review concludes.

September 14th                 9.0 release gets uploaded to Maven Central.
