Hi Philip,
many thanks for the hint! After adding a placeholder for the
area part, it works as expected!
Side note: Do not try to pack the area part inside a part
stack, you will get a strange exception ;) It seems differences
between editor area and views are still present here and there
to some degree ;)
Best,
Alex

Hi folks,
Alex, thanks for the screencast. I assume that the
following has happened:
The ChromIdent perspective doesn't have an "area"
reference, which is used by other perspectives to display the
chromatograms. Hence, the chromatogram are opened in the last
"Part Stack" of the opened perspective. But this part stack
isn't available in other perspectives. Hence, chromatograms
are not displayed. Since e4, there's no differentiation
between editors and views anymore. Everything is a part.
Please try the same, open another perspective and
have a look at the "Select View" wizard. The opened shall be
displayed in the list.
Hence, each perspective shall include a reference
to the editor area.
Best
Philip
