Re: [che-dev] Startup time reduced

Excellent news!

Are those numbers how it behaves in OSIO/openshift or is it on local laptop ?

I could imagine a fix like this could have even bigger impact on the clusters than on a local laptop with plenty of cpu/memory.

Hello
I would like to share good news
Recently we merged one optimization in Eclipse Che master and che6 branch
After that startup time reduced for 30%-40%

Before:
~10000 ms - WS Master
~6800 ms - WS Agent
After:
~7000 ms - WS Master
~3700 ms - WS Agent
Che 6 Ubuntu 14.04
This changes will be a part of 5.20 and 6.0.0-M2 releases.

Credits for Florent Benoit and Mykhailo Kuznietsov. You did an amazing job, guys. Thank you.
