Hi Elson,
thanks for the response. Is there any page where I can find the current release schedule?
In the meantime I’ve created my own fork and a branch on the GIT repo and tried localy implementing this feature on my own. Maybe it’s
worth sharing my current progress with you to have an starting point for you if the stuff I’ve done is not completely wrong….
Best regards,
André

André,
This item is too late to get into the Oxygen release. We have just completed our M7 and already in RC1. It is something that we can revisit post Oxygen and try to include in one of the dot releases of Oxygen. I just marked the
target milestone to Oxygen.1 for the time being to remind us to revisit this time when we start planning for Oxygen.1.
Regards,
Elson

Hi Elson,
thanks for the feedback. I’ve subscribed to this bug/feature request. However, this is fairly old. The last update is from April 2016. More than a year ago now.
Is there any more recent update on this topic?
Thanks in advance.
BR André

Thank you for your interest in the CFT plugins. There is an existing feature request on this topic:
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=486774
You can subscribe to that item to keep track on the progress and further discussion on that function.

Elson

Subject: [cft-dev] Enhancement request for the cft plugin: Support NodeJS application push
Sent by: cft-dev-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxx
Hi there,
I’m quite new to use the Cloud Foundry Tools plugin.
I’ve seen the possibiblity to push Java Web Applications to the CF server. However, we are mainly developing NodeJS based applications and I would love to see an option to deploy those applications as well. Just using the current wizard and changing the buildpack
from java_buildpack to nodejs_buildpack does not seem to work.
I would also like to try to enhance this in a fork by myself, but due to the complexity of the plugin I’m struggeling where to start with.
I would appreciate if this request could be followed up in one of the next CFT releases.
Thanks in advance.
BR André
