Re: [cf-dev] Using GitHub issues for Californium

Hi,

I have created a Bugzilla issue [1] for switching to GitHub issues …

We now should create a CONTRIBUTING.md file in the Californium repos containing any relevant information for contributing. Maybe we can use the file used by leshan as a starting point?

@Simon: could you add leshan’s CONTRIBUTING.md to the Scandium repo and start adapting it to Californium’s specifics?

Subject: [cf-dev] Using GitHub issues for Californium

Hi committers,

as recently announced by Mike the eclipse foundation is now ok with projects using GitHub issues. All we need to do is to drop a mail to the IoT PMC mailing list indicating that we want to do that for Californium.

I would be in favor of doing so since it is much more convenient to use, in particular for new (potential) contributors.

What do you think?

Regards,

Kai
