[cf-dev] Usage of reflections library

Dear fellow committers,

we are currently using the "reflections" [1] library in Californium's "plugtest-checker" module for which I have created a CQ [2] in preparation for our upcoming 1.0.0 release.
However, the CQ I wanted to piggy-back [3] has not been approved yet and based on the information provided by Jason & Sharon, I do not expect that to change any time soon.

With regard to our plans for the upcoming release my question thus is whether we would probably fare better if we got rid of the dependency on reflections altogether.
What do you think?
