Features

• NMake makefile generator. No Gnu tools required.
• Easy setup. You do not need to set environment variables. Just install the requirements and the plug-in sets itself up.
• Full compiler and linker options. You have full control of compiler and linker switches.

IMPORTANT: What this plug-in cannot do

• No .NET Framework support. Althou it might be possible to compile CLR code, it is completely unsupported.
• No integrated debugger. This plug-in does not include a native Win32 debugger, you may still need GDB. The good news is that its in the works and it might be available on a future release.

Source Code

The source of the plugin is included in the plugin. If anyone wants to make improvements [he/she?] is invited to do so. If you modify the source, please send me a patch, so that I can incorporate it in future releases. If the team of the CDT likes to integrate this plugin into the CDT HEAD cvs, I would be happy to participate.

You may install the toolkit whereever you like. The plug-in will find the install location on run-time automatically.

Platform SDK

The Windows Platform Software Development Kit (SDK) provides the documentation, samples, header files, libraries, and tools you need to develop applications that run on Windows.
