I lost quite a bit of time on this. I thought I f*ed up.
I started a long mail describing the problem but I felt like I
was talking nonsense (Happened before on this mail list ;-) ).
Then I got the idea to simply close the docker projects :-).
Which got me into java 8 java 11 (I have no clue what I'm doing
but it seems to work now ) land.
Conclusion: Working on CDT is hard. Hats of to all of you and

The CDT master branch is currently broken because one of
our dependencies (linuxtools docker) has had an API change.
Tony is working hard at resolving this (thanks for the
quick responses Tony!). You can follow the progress in
