Re: [cdt-dev] Coordinated testing (max 2 hours)

Hi All,
In _expression_ view, found that when I am trying to display local array ranges it displays correctly but while trying for global array it is not able to display the range (it says No matches found), is this a bug ?

Thanks

We should be using the ids as returned by GDB. I guess the core files does not store those ids or GDB does not process then properly. Something to check with GDB.

While testing the functionality for the  post-morterm core file,

I noticed the thread ids don't correspond to the original session,
I tested with Kepler and it also does not reflect the original thread id's,

Does any one know if there is a limitation to resolve the original thread ids or is this a Bug ?

Cool. That is nice. Maybe not the most user friendly install, but yeah, pulling off mingw.org isn't as great as it used to be. There are lots of alternatives to make up though.

I'm not sure, if that fits into required test environment, but I use the gcc from equation.com.
They have an gcc-4.9 version there, which also includes gdb-7.7
I like that environment much more to setup on windows than msys/mingw.

For the Windows column of Section 2, just checked that MinGW latest contains only gdb 7.6.1-1 so the minimum requirement mentioned in the testing doc, i.e. gdb 7.7 is not met. Is there any other way to compile gdb7.7 for mingw? I really dont want to go thru the hassle of installing cygwin.

Hi All,

I have done the testing for Section 2: Local Debug today. All the tests are OK in this section, should I mark the doc or just write up the Pass results in a mail?
I have used Eclipse CDT RC2 downloaded from the Eclipse Download site, Developers section.

Thanks
Abeer
