[cdt-dev] Proper handling of IP

Hi,

Question about proper IP handling for contributions.

In bug 370462, https://bugs.eclipse.org/370462,
a contribution has evolved to fix multiple related
problems in a single patch.

The patch is now more than 250 lines (445) but the CQ deadline 
for Juno has passed :(

Since the patch addresses multiple fixes, would it be ok to 
split the solution into multiple bugs and multiple smaller patches?

It is quite disappointing for a contributor to put in the
effort to provide a solid patch and be told it won't be available
in CDT until June 2013.
