Ok, thanks for the info!
But the head of
CVS is correctly contained in the git clone, right?
The problem is that our
company firewall is blocking the access to the CVS repo. I really tried
everything on the technical and political side to get access to
it.

It's synced frequently. Unfortunately the conversion is done using git
cvsimport which 'misses' things. The canonical place to get the code is
still the CVS repository.
This is an old cvsimport that went wrong.

I don't see a tag for CDT 7.0.2 either. In the absence of
that, should I checkout cdt_7_0, or cdt_7_0_2 to obtain the source code for
the final release of 7.0.2?
