Re: [cdt-dev] RE: API tooling for CDT 8.0 and CDT 7.0.1

Technically if it is an API we cannot add a new public method. But
sometimes it is not possible to fix a bug
without doing it. I think we can discuss those cases on dev-list and
people are ok with it we can add it as API exception.
