Thread-topic: Cannot create patches anymore

CVS suddenly refuses to connect while creating a patch from my workspace, anybody having the same problem? The error message looks like this:

Could not connect to :pserver:anonymous@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx:/cvsroot/tools: Cannot connect to host: Connection refused
