RE: [cdt-dev] Software Updates showing CDT 5.0.1
|
We've had a similar problem and it looked like it was a
proxy caching issue. Something about the proxy we use
having cached something and then Eclipse always getting the
cached version.
What fixed the problem was to go to the update site in a
web browser and refresh the page.
This somehow tells the proxy to refresh. Then, in
Eclipse, things started to work.
Steve, if you manage to try this, I'd be curious to know if
it worked for you too.
Thanks
Marc
Apparently this is some strange firewall problem on our
end, although it's got me completely puzzled. I had no problem getting
the proper site.xml with 5.0.2 entries or downloading cdt-master-5.0.2.zip,
but I can't see the 5.0.2 version in update manager from any of a number of
machines I've tried it on. I did try it from my home pc, and the 5.0.2
versions show up fine. Oh well.
Steve
I just tried it and it works for me. If you go to http://download.eclipse.org/tools/cdt/releases/ganymede/site.xml,
do you see the feature entries at the buttom of the page with the 5.0.2
version numbers?

[cdt-dev] Software Updates showing CDT
5.0.1 |
When we go to the Ganymede update site or the
http://download.eclipse.org/tools/cdt/releases/ganymede site, only the 5.0.1 versions show up. Is anyone else having
this problem?
