Hi Mikhail,
thank you for the precision on the makefile generator. For the NPE
stack-trace, where can I get it. No more information is given about the
NPE in the details of the error.

Hi Kurvin,
The makefile generator is instantiated on
load in order to obtain the build output directory (i.e. by calling the IManagedBuilderMakefileGenerator.getBuildWorkingDir()), so this is the correct behavior.
Also you should not be seeing the NPE.
Could you attach a stack-trace for it?
Thanks,
Mikhail

Subject: [cdt-dev] Migrating from
CDT 3.3 to 4.0
Hi Mikhail,
I have a question
about the functionning of the build in CDT 4.0. When I start my
workspace, for each project present in it, an instance of the class
implementing the IManagedBuilderMakefileGenerator interface is created and the
initialize method is called, on each object in parellel. Is it how it is
supposed to behave?
Secondly, when we first start the workspace we have the following indexing
exception.

Is this a bad configuration from our part or is there an open bug for
this?
