[cdt-dev] Template Engine submission into CDT HEAD.

Hello,

The template engine (https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=160012)
is partially broken with the new project model submission.  I have
some fixes for template engine to work with latest CDT HEAD. I am doing
some more sanity testing before proposing final patch. Since we got permission
from the eclipse IP team to go ahead and submit the Template Engine into
CDT, we are thinking of having a vote on the following two options from
the community.

(1) submit friday without substantial
rework, and provide rework in a patch for CDT 4.0 release
(2) delay submission until late in M6
cycle and integrate more fully with the new project model

Please let us know your opinion. I am
not expecting any API changes, neither in Template engine nor in the new
project model in the integration work. Based on your suggestion we plan
our work.
