An indexer requirements doc for 3.0
will be released to the community within the next few weeks, This will
specify in detail what issues will be addressed in 3.0 - but as John pointed
out, the main focus for the indexer is on performance and scalability.

Some time ago I was told that indexer, which has a lot of problems, is
in 
treatment.
I am watching the list for a long time and do not see even reminiscences
about 
the indexer. As this feature seems very important for me, I shall be very
thankful to those who can clarify when it will be usable.

Again excuses for disturbance.
