Ouch. Do you know if this bug is present in 2.0M6?
Doug & co: would it be possible to post a zip file of the 2.0M6 release? The update manager mode of installation doesn't work for us Mac users :-)

I've reproduced this several times on Windows 2000. I've logged a bug 50495 but I got no response yet.
I've recreated this by shutting down Eclipse with Task Manager and then restarting Eclipse (CDT disappeared afterwards).

<x-tad-smaller> projects, editor, and build views could not be created. I shut down </x-tad-smaller>
<x-tad-smaller> Eclipse and started it again, and basically every trace of the CDT was </x-tad-smaller>
<x-tad-smaller> gone! Window-->Open Perspective and Open View did not list any CDT </x-tad-smaller>
<x-tad-smaller> options. All the feature/plugin directories were still there, but for </x-tad-smaller>
<x-tad-smaller> some reason they don't seem to be available. I know the CDT isn't </x-tad-smaller>
<x-tad-smaller> officially supported on OS X, but does anyone have any ideas on what </x-tad-smaller>
<x-tad-smaller> might have happened, and how to fix it? Is there work being done to </x-tad-smaller>
