I'll give you back a penny =;-)  Sometimes it is nice to have a 
way to customize some of the attributes ... the line number info
to me would be handy (and it is a core marker attribute) but the
line of text would only be usefull if it isn't overly "heavy".

With the new C/C++ search, the icon is likely going to display that 
their search found a #define as opposed to something else
since it is actually working on translation units as opposed to
free text.
