Are you updating from a build before 1.2.0.10? If so, you have run into
our the string compare issue we've run into with the update manager, i.e.,
it compares versions as whole strings.
The workaround is to remove all CDT plugins and features before installing
a new build.

Why is there no "Install Now" button for CDT 1.2.0.12?
(There is one for source, but not for Windows binaries).
