Re: [cbi-dev] Unsatisfied Dependency Failure
|
Well, apologies, my "packaging"
step failed too with an error similar to what you mentioned as your first
error:
[ERROR] Failed to execute goal org.eclipse.tycho:tycho-packaging-plugin:0.17.0-SNAPSHOT:validate-version
(default-validate-version) on project org.eclipse.ui.tests.views.properties.tabbed:
Unqualified OSGi version 3.5.200.qualifier must match unqualified Maven
version 3.5.100-SNAPSHOT for SNAPSHOT builds -> [Help 1]
So, I'm guessing, our (relatively) clean
build was not so clean after all? I'm sure we'll get it straightened out
soon (If someone doesn't know a more direct work-around).

I don't know what that means. But, I don't think I "synched up"
correctly the first time ... I had to go read the docs to refresh my memory
:/ ... but I think I've fixed it up now. If you do a fresh pull and submodule
update, it'd be worth a try. I'm trying a "manual" build now,
but hasn't reached that packaging phase.
If still doesn't work, we'll have to wait for Thanh. :)

Just re-ran. I got an error for the version in a pom eclipse.platform.ui/tests/org.eclipse.ui.tests.views.properties.tabbed/pom.xml
which was easy to fix and now I'm getting the following error:
[ERROR] Failed to execute goal org.eclipse.tycho:tycho-packaging-plugin:0.17.0-SNAPSHOT:build-qualifier-aggregator
(default-build-qualifier-aggregator) on project org.eclipse.equinox.core.feature:

failed: Project org.eclipse.equinox.framework:org.eclipse.osgi:eclipse-plugin:3.9.0-SNAPSHOT
does not have expanded version -> [Help 1]
Any idea how to fix that?

Try it now. We (finally) got a (relatively) clean build from our automated
build, so I tried "manually" pushing the commit for aggregator
to master so that should "sync up" several changes made over
the last 3 or 4 days. One of which as to remove org.eclipse.e4.ui.model.workbench.edit.
If it does not work, I think I know what to do next. So, let us know.
Next week we hope to turn on "autotagging" when we get a good
build [1].
