Re: [buckminster-dev] Hudson plugin and provisioning
|
Hi Thomas,
comments inline
Yes, this was what I was thinking too. Something simple that can
override. Doesn't need to be exposed in the UI.
Alright, I do this then. I'll have a look for a good place of the
replacement JSON and document the 'backdoor' in the plugin's wiki page
once the new version is deployed.
OK, perhaps it does something with the parameters of the URL. In any
case, I think it must be OK to download using a direct URL. The director
is relatively small and this is not something that will happen on every
run.
Ok, I'll leave it like that then since it only downloads the director
when the tool gets initially installed. If it turns out to be a problem
I can still try to find a solution for the URL redirect.
Ouch! Would appreciate a bugzilla on that.

So every feature from eclipe.org und subclipse (no subversive) from
cloudsmith, right? What about the emma feature, or is that available
from the eclipse.org site?
Yes, nowadays emma is also included from Eclipse.
Ok, I think that was all I needed then.
Thank you very much for the support. I will post again once I deployed
the new version.
I'll also post the JSON file once I'm done with it so you can double
check if everything is correct.
If everything works, maybe you can try to run this on a slave on
build.eclipse.org or so to see if it works on slaves as well (since I
have no means to test that properly).
If anybody reading this has a hudson running on a windows machine, I'd
greatly appreciate a feedback if everything is working there too.
Thanks again and best regards,
Johannes
