Re: [bpel-dev] xPath query must be an absolute path? Please help
|
yes, BPEL 20 does no longer require the path to be absolute. Any XPath
query should be valid, ie as long as is conforms to the XPath 1.0 standard
and can be properly interpreted by the XPath processor used in the BPEL
engine of your choice

Subject: [bpel-dev] xPath query must be an absolute path? Please help
Sent by: bpel-dev-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxx
Hi,
The 1st version of the BPEL specifies under 14.3 that "For XPath 1.0, the value of the query attribute MUST be an absolute locationPath (with '/'
meaning the root of the document fragment representing the entire part)."
But in BPEL 2.0 I cannot find this rule. I wonder if it is different in this version. Especially, can people write something like "//street
[@name='blabla']" in the xPath query???
Please help
Thank you very much
