Subject: Re: [bpel-dev] it's
possible to set names to non-NCName
Vitaly,
I took it out for a couple of reasons.
1) validation is done outside the editor and this error is reported.
2) the map and variable list editing via GEF was where this was getting caught
- the name changes via model or via property sheets were not.
3) There was some exception that caused that dialog to be shown twice.
4) I would prefer to have non-screaming type of feedback at the end when
something like this happens.

Hi there,
As a result of recent commits it
becomes possible to set names of various BPEL elements to non-NCName.
How to reproduce.
- Open
the editor.
- Try
to rename a, say, Assign activity to “_:”. You’ll be
able to do it.
- Try
to rename the whole process in the tray to “_:”. You’ll
be able to do it too.
I remember the editor didn’t
allow doing that quite recently raising up an error dialog.
Is it a recently introduced
regression?
Thanks,
Vitaly.
