Hi,
I think the origin of having both small and large Icons is that we intended
the palette to use large icons at one point. GEF palettes usually have a
support so that you can right-click in the palette and choose large icons
... but somehow we don't support this.
So this is the area where this would come into play ... however, you are
safe for now by just providing a small icon.

Uhhh ... good point. They are used for nothing now (no calls in the call
graph).
There was some original intent of this ... but I am not sure what.
