Thanks.
Also, it would be good for everyone to add babel.core-inbox@xxxxxxxxxxx
to their Bugzilla watch list to keep track of the Bugzilla
communication:

Babel
Team,
I believe that the best strategy to move forward with the code
contribution from Aptana (thanks Paul) is to create a new component in
the Babel project for the code. This component will come with two new
committers:
- Denis Roy. You know him as the fearless sysadmin for
eclipse.org,
but he's also a good PHP programmer and understands how to make an
application like this work across all the Eclipse projects.
- Gabe O'Brien. Gabe a long time PHP programmer who recently
joined
the Eclipse Foundation after being the chief programmer for the Dark
Horse Comics commercial website. He too is a PHP expert and a man who
knows how to make a high availability website.
We (the Foundation) are also setting up a babel.eclipse.org virtual
server to host this application. Denis and Gabe's first task will be to
connect the bugzilla login/password mechanism to the code base (part of
the Foundation's effort to reduce the number of logins and passwords
you need to remember to a mere two :-)
Are there any objections to creating this new component?
Denis, Gabe, please try to have as much design discussion on this open
mailing list as possible. Thanks.
- Bjorn
