We are seeking a Senior Level Java Software Engineer for our Austin location. NO relocation is available for this position.
The Senior Level Java Software Engineering position will involve the development on a number of engineering analytical tools.
Job responsibilities will include gathering requirements from customers as well as designing, implementing, and maintaining software solutions. Candidate will also be expected to mentor junior developers. Primary work responsibilities will involve development on an Eclipse-based RCP application, so RCP experience is a must.
Required experience and skillsets:
* 6+ years software development experience
* Demonstrated Java expertise
* Linux/Unix experience
* Familiarity w/ basic statistical concepts and algorithms
* Demonstrated knowledge of fundamental software design patterns
* Experience with Eclipse-based RCP development
* Familiarity w/ common Java APIs (Spring, Hibernate, etc.)
* Java certification a plus
* Semiconductor background a plus
* C/C++, Python, Perl experience a plus
Required education:
-BS although MS preferred in CS, CE or EE
