Re: [aperi-dev] Regarding SAN Simulator install instructions
|
Hi Nissam,
I assume
i) you installed Sun JDK 1.5 and set the environment variable
JAVA_HOME (e.g. JAVA_HOME=c:\java5\jdk).
ii) you are simulating a device using "configuration" based approach,
not "snapshot" . If you are trying to snapshot a new device that we haven't
come across before - we need to double check the MOF intricacies.
Pls. let me know. I can send you some of our screencam videos that capture
end-to-end scenario - that can help you install simulator easily and use
it.

Hi
During the SAN simulator installation we got an error in MOF compilation
if we set the
JAVA_HOME as JDK 1.5.*. I posted the issue that time and Hans Lin
suggested to set the
Java Platform, Enterprise Edition 5 SDK Update 1 as JAVA_HOME and it
worked fine. Still the problem is there
and others also getting the same issue.
Somebody please update whats the reason for the same?
We may need to update the
http://www.eclipse.org/aperi/documentation/r4/install_simulator.php. such
that.
people may not get the error again.
thanks and regards
