[adoptium-wg] Open Community for Java 2024 program is available!

Dear Adoptium WG members,

We're excited to announce that the program for Open Community for Java (OCJ) at OCX 2024 is now available! Join us in Mainz, Germany, on 22-24 October for an exciting event featuring an outstanding lineup of speakers and an enriching program of tutorials and sessions. As valued members of the Eclipse community, we can't wait to see you there!


The Open Community for Java program will cover key topics around open source enterprise Java, including open Java runtimes, enterprise Java standards, cloud platforms, and more.


We are thrilled to see some of the Adoptium community member as part of the speakers; Thank you for supporting the initiative and showcasing your work:

  • Hendrik Ebbers from Open Elements will have 2 sessions: "Eclipse love Java" at OCJ and  "Open Worlds - Why Diversity in Open Source Foundations Matters" at OCX Track - Open Collaboration.
  • Pushkar Kulkarni from Canonical, with one session: "Chiseled Java Containers" at OCJ.
  • Daniel Scanteianu from Bloomberg with 2 sessions: "Lights, Camera, GitHub Action! Automating Vulnerability Disclosure Reports for Eclipse Temurin" at OCJ and  "A Java Developer’s Guide to Supply Chain Security" at OCX - Security. 
  • Scott Fryer from Red Hat, "Validating Infrastructure Security Through Access Auditing" at OCJ and "Navigating a security audit, the insights, challenges, experiences and lessons learnt"   at OCX - Security.
  • Stewart Addison from Red Hat, "Secure development in Open Source - the road to SLSA level 3 compliance for Eclipse Temurin" at OCX- Security.
  • Lan Xia and Longyu Zhang from IBM,  "Inspiring AI-Infused Innovations in Adoptium AQAvit and Openj9" at OCJ.
