Hello,

I've installed PDT 2.0 recently. I then created a PHP project. To my
astonishment however when opening a PHP file the syntax coloring of my
Java settings is displayed. I really use a completely different
style/coloring here. It just looks so plain ugly.

I can see from Window -> Preferences[...?], PHP subtree, syntax coloring,
PHP specific settings do exist. They just aren't used.

What is wrong?

Karsten

I have to reformulate the problem.

See the next posting.

I had the same problem and it's because the text editor is used for some
reason. If you go to File Association and change *.php to PHP Editor,
you'll see the syntax coloring.
