Is there currently a way to implement drill-down functionality in a report?
I would like to be able to design a report and have summary information at
the group header level, and the ability to drill-down for detailed
information. If this is not currently a feature, are there plans to make it
one?

Melissa,

Drill down in supported with subgroups. Here is the response Jason provided
me.

Look at the Sub Reports example, under examples/reporting features.
It doesnt hide the row and all the details are in the final same report, but
putting a hyperlink to a detail report should be easy. Also look at the
hyperlinking example which does a drill through.
