I am new to Eclipse as well. I got Eclipse Classic and then installed PHPEclipse (www dot phpeclipse dot com/) after that. As far as a JS, Android, or Java IDEs I believe you can install all of those through the program by activating perspectives.

I would pick the most complex one, probably Eclipse IDE for Java EE
Developers and install that. Then, use Help -> Install New Software to
install the rest.
Many of us install everything in the same Eclipse. Others, like me,
prefer separate Eclipses for separate concerns.
