I'm a complete noob to this C++ coding stuff. I'm a Java baby trying to
learn a real language and I've had some issues with Visual C++ 6.0 so I
wanted to try C++. I have Eclipse and installed CDT and also got Mingw. How
do I set up Eclipse now to use mingw??? I'm totally confused.

Thanks,

Elton

Just add MingGW/bin path into "path" of system environment variable.
then cdt will automatically provide what you want.

ps.
Don't try to find real language.
