Hello,

Could some one tell me how do i get Side-By-Side Bar charts for three
columns one besides the other.

I did try the 2d side by side bar.I tried to insert more than two columns
in x-series say row[day],row[component]

On y series row[cost], I want to get side by side bars on x-axis for both
row day value and component value

Help Appreciated.

Hello,

I kept X-axis type as DateTime but one column day is datetime and
component is text.[As i said iam trying to get two side by side bars on
chart and inserted row[day],row[component] on x-axis.

Y-axis type is linear.i get this error when i use them

------------------------------------------------------------ --------------------

There are errors on the report page:
+ There are error(s) in Chart:null
Error0 : data.engine.InvalidJSExpr(13times)detail: Invalid Javascript
expression: row["MONTH"] row["YEAR"]missing ; before statementmissing ;
before statementError1 : Error.ExtendedItemRenderingError(1 time)detail:
There are problems(s) rendering Chart extended item .The dataset used by
the Chart is invalidThe dataset used by the Chart is invalid

other wise if i change the x-axis type to text i get the chart but not
side-by-side bars.

Help

Hi Vasun,

I think you are confused between the X Axis and Y series. What you need is
two Y Series: you can create them in the Y Axis page (set the number of
series to 2), then fill each Y Serie Data Definition.

Thanks,

David
