hi!
i realised that i always got an exception when starting the application
with -consoleLog.
java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError:
org/eclipse/core/internal/runtime/auth/AuthorizationHandler
it seems that the missing plugin is:
org.eclipse.core.runtime.compatibility.auth
the missing class is in this plugin so there ain't no exception any more.
is there a special reason why this plugin isn't included in the target
platform?

Ben,
please note that there is a *warning* issued when no authorization
code is present. The core.runtime plug-in gracefully handles this case.
We didn't feel that this log message would justify including another
plug-in.
Cheers,

Hi,
by the way, including the plug-in didn't solve the problem for me. The
NCFE still persists. Is there something else to mind?
Ciao
