Are there plans to deliver an implementaion of the Configuration Admin
Service? This post implies
http://dev.eclipse.org/mhonarc/lists/equinox-dev/msg00732.ht ml not.
However, I've seen some contradicting posts as well. Also, there are some
existing equinox bundles that implement the ManagedService interface (e.g.
org.eclipse.equinox.log.Activator). Any insight is greatly appreciated.

Cheers,
Cameron.

Looks like Simon Kaegi just released an implementation in the incubator
( http://dev.eclipse.org/viewcvs/index.cgi/equinox-incubator/o rg.eclipse.equinox.cm/).
I guess this answers my question.

Cameron.

Hi Cameron,

Simon is working on a Configuration Admin Service implementation in the
incubator. Maybe, with the cummunity's help, we can graduate this
implementation out of the incubator. As far as ManagedService
implementation (e.g. log service impl), this is to support Configuration
Admin if it is present. But it does not mean it requires a
Configuration Admin implementation to work.
