Any news about the proposal?

I've seen that the url http://www.eclipse.org/subversive/ bring you to a
project page (it's still empty).

Hi Andrea,

the proposal was accepted and actually about two weeks ago the project got
provisioned (the eclipse.org infrastructure created e.g. the user accounts
and http://www.eclipse.org/subversive/).

Now we are working on stabilizing the project at the old location
(polarion.org), so that then we can move to the eclipse.org infrastructure.
This should happen during March. So the project page
http://www.eclipse.org/subversive/ should get some update soon.

Hi Michal,
Does this mean that Subversive becomes the official provider for
Subversion in Eclipse? What happened to the joint proposal with Subclipse?

Kind Regards,
Thomas Hallgren

Hi Thomas,

there is actually no 'official provider' for Subversion in Eclipse yet.
There are still both Subversive and Subclipse proposals. Subversive already
did pass the creation review and the project provisioning, so it's acually
an Eclipse project. From this point of view it's a bit 'ahead' of Subclipse,
but it doesn't mean much.

At the same time, we are in discussion with Subclipse (and CollabNet, who
hired Subclipse lead Mark Phippard to work on the project) about joining our
forces. After estabilishing some personal contacts at EclipseCon this
discussion is now more promissing, but still has no 'real' outcome.

I hope this helps,

Michal

Any progress? I think with Subclipse withdrawing their proposal, a lot
more people will be focusing on this project. But we do need the source
on eclipse.org with appropriate IP reviews first.
