Thanks for this very quick effort.
I've been using this for a few days and it seems solid. I can tell that
the memory usage is improved. It might still be a bit high for our
application but it is definitely better.
For a "normal" application, after a full build (with -Xmx1350m), I'll hit
a peak of 1280M and then drop to 1150M. I just wish I had another 512M of
memory!
But I am using it and frankly RAD is causing no more problems than before.
Before the update, for the same workspace, I would often just start
trashing in the GC (I assume0 and sit building the same project for 10+
minutes before I'd just kill RAD. Now, I make it past the build but it
still takes quite a long time with the CPU at 100% for some time.
I'm going to keep working with it; overall it's a noticeable improvement.
