Unable to create SWT Shell using Visual Editor.
I tried to create a SWT Shell from the palette and from the new Visual
Class dialog, niether of them allows me to create a shell so I can add
other contents like buttons, etc.
- Creating from palette allows be to select SWT Container Shell, drag a
rectangle into canvas, but nothing shows up.
- Creating from the initial dialog, SWT Application, generates some
code, but fails to load the control palette (its empty) and gives an
error that a Null pointer was discovered. Then it is stuck because
cannot layout any controls since there is nothing in the palette.
Does anyone know why? I'm using Eclipse 3.0.1 with VE 1.0.
Thanks in advanced.
- Chris
