PROBLEM COMES after clicking the preview tab Eclipse crashes when i switch
to Layout View.
I have included the log from the crash below.
I am running Eclipse 3.1,
And as I mentioned the GEF and EMF requirements were met.
Checked Installation Procedures also further i have tried with jdk1.5.0_04
also. Same
Problem is continuing.
I am So Much Interested In BIRT Please Help Me Regarding This Issue.

Hi,
BIRT does not support GEF 3.1 yet (support will be provided in the next
1.0.1 release). It would be best to use Eclipse 3.0.1 until then. Here are
the install instructions:

If you really want to use Eclipse 3.1, then you can try to get BIRT 1.0.1M1
and use GEF 3.0.x instead of GEF 3.1.
