how to create a custom build [message #57974] Sun, 01 October 2006 17:38 Go to next message

Hi all,

We have extended GMF with some features. So we had to modify some of the
existing projects and add some new projects. All of them are in our own
CVS repository.
Now we tried to create a build of our custom GMF. Therefore we modified
the mapfiles in our local copy of org.eclipse.gmf.releng\maps
so that the entries point to our CVS. This works quiet good so that the
build contains our changes in existing GMF projects.
But the projects that are new, are still missing in the build.

What do we have to do, so that our new projects will be included in the
build?

Thanks,
Rene

Have you created a map file with your plug-ins? And, do you have a new
component and feature in the build that include your plug-ins? The build
will need this feature in order to know to look in the map files for your
plug-ins and their location, and then generate the build scripts for this
component.

Best,
Rich
