2006. I'm sure that there's some nice improvements till now since the
release of the 0.7 version of the ATL Manual. So, is there a newer ATL
User Manual or some newer documentation? If so, where can i get it?

Hello,
The documentation you're talking about is the last version. New features
and improvements are detailed in the ATL wiki, in hold of a newer version.
