Breakpoints, Remote Debugging and Projects [message #53298] Mon, 09 June 2003 15:21 Go to next message

Hi,
I have noticed a quirk in Eclipse whereby it does not seem possible to
set breakpoints in code located in a dependent project.

If I have project A that calls a method in project B (project A's build path
refers to project B) and I am connecting to an app server using remote
debugging, any breakpoints I set in project B are ignored ( they don't have
the little blue triangle on them ).

Has anybody else noticed this, and are there any workarounds ?

Please file a bug report with a detailed test case (the smaller, the better)
and we'll take a look.

Thanks,
- Jared
