Hi,
I would encourage folks to register for EclipseCon while the
registration discounts are still applicable and good hotel rooms are
still available:
<http://www.eclipsecon.org/2007/>
http://www.eclipsecon.org/2007/
There is an incredible diversity of cool tutorials, talks, demos,
panels, and so on to help make it a very interesting and educational
week. This year's modeling track helps ensure that there are plenty of
cool things that will be of specific interest for those with a modeling
bias. Here is a selection of just some of the highlights:

< http://www.eclipsecon.org/2007/index.php?page=sub/&id=41 08>
I look forward to seeing you there!

Since we are talking about EclipseCon ;-)... From Bjorn's blog:
Voting is now open for the Eclipse Community Awards (Individual
category). These awards are to recognize and thank the individuals who
make Eclipse such a vibrant robust community. Take the time to read the
nomination "speeches" that each candidate received (Ambassador,
Contributor, Committer) and then vote! Voting remains open for three
weeks (through February 16th).
The voting site is
http://www.eclipsecon.org/2007/index.php?page=awardsvote/.
The nomination "speeches" can be found here:
Ambassador: https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=168235
Contributor: https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=168237
Committer: https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=168238
Btw, our personal newsgroup answering machine, aka Ed ;-), is running
for top committer. If you think he has helped you, this may be a good
opportunity to show your appreciation.
Cheers,
Marcelo
