Hey,

I'm running eclipse 3.3 and am reading the docs about automatic updates
from the command line:

/help/topic/org.eclipse.platform.doc.isv/reference/misc/upda te_standalone.html

My goal is to install the latest version of a feature X (from an ant
script), without knowing whether the feature is installed at all. So the
command I'd like to have is:

If not installed, install latest version, else update.

Do I need to implement this logic myself or is anything more comfy
available?

If people here can't help, I would suggest eclipse.technology.equinox
and put [P2] at the beginning of the subject.

As of 3.4, p2 is responsible for updates and installs.
